Brought the summit down to the sugarbush yesterday. Smoked a brisket for lunch today (it's resting in a cooler now), and a little chunk of roast beef for snacking while we made syrup. After we finished, I carried it back up to the yard on the pallet forks. In this picture, both the grill and the tractor are operating. :)

Had a bad experience today.
Certified Angus brand, Smokehouse petite tender.
It looked good in the package and on the grill.
It wasn't.
The meat is cured and salty as hell.
I should have read the ingredients, before I purchased. It contains a curing agent and a cure accelerator.
If you see this stuff in the store, leave it there.

If that is beef I think I would leave it also!! Beef is usually not cured!
