What's going on with this piston? Husqvarna 272xp

Low and behold there was a new old stock OEM piston in that box of parts my dealer gave me, 2 actually.
I did a light hone on the cylinder. I'll measure a few things and get it back together. Hopefully I can leave the base gasket out.

Made a thinner gasket to give me .020 squish. The gasket material i used was .014.

Here's what I did to the muffler. That tube in there was bugging me so I gave it the what for, should breathe now.
