My lovely wife made me an awesome lasagna, and ice cream cake for dessert for my birthday which is Wednesday but she wanted to do it this weekend instead of next. She got me the bottle of Beam too. Made for a nice Sunday!

A little change of pace today.
I did some thick cut pork chops on the smoker for a couple hours then threw them in a pan of BBQ sauce and beer, along with some beef sausage and Boudin sausage that I grilled, then put the pan back on the smoker for a few more hours. Red Potato and Egg Potato salad and some kick ass baked beans that my wife made, rounded out the meal.
Do any of you guys do this?
I'd never seen BBQ done like this until I moved to St. Louis. It's not my favorite method but my wife prefers pork steaks, chops and sausage done this way. I do this a couple times a year.
To me, it flies in the face of all that's holy but when you're married.......

Grilled Coyote back straps, roasted Rutabaga, mashed Culaflower Home made bread and Peach pie.

:D Al

I've had Jack Rabbit back straps from South Dakota, but not Coyote. (Tell me how it tastes --please don't say just like chicken :D).

Where's the onions? Nothing wrong with liver. My younger taste buds wouldn't agree but they sure do now.

Mama usually fixes the liver with onions and gravy, We had no onions so she just fixed it plain. I love it any way it is fixed!
