I doubt there will be any grill pics today either

Heat index in Fredrickesburg today was 110, they say it will be even higher on Sunday . Don't sound good to me.!

104* here at the moment. High today is supposed to be 107*.
Just got back from changing a flat tire, on my wife's truck, on a gravel road.
Took two hours. Everything that could have gone wrong did.
Time for a Gin & Tonic..........or four.

It's about 105 here in Belleville got corned beef cabbage potatoes carrots onions in crockpot

Honey baked ham and cheese on a Brioche bun with a good slathering of Dukes and some Ruffles.
It was so friggin hot today, warm food didn't sound at all appealing.
I did enjoy a few cold Tangueray & tonics before I ate, during dinner and for dessert. They're tasting damn good this evening.

Tried something new last night, fried squash cakes, with fresh snapped green beans with new potatoes and fresh maters with some Dukes and French dressing. ( The squash cakes were amazing! )

Tonight is Italian chicken in the crock pot with more snaps and new taters, and maters with some Dukes and French dressing again. Yummy!

I didn't take any pictures but the wife made a whole tray of stuffed cabbage for dinner tonight. It was awesome and will be my lunch at work tomorrow.

Yesterday evening made a big ol' pot of spaghetti and butter/garlic bread for the daughter and I. We scarfed a couple of plates each...and of course about a gallon of milk on my behalf.
