Just enough snow that I can't ignore it here, but not enough to plow. On the plus side I AM burning through the rest of last years salt supply, but I missed my last chance to run a saw for awhile.
I did repurpose a box from Spike60 (bob) to get a little baby saw on its way to Jason.
I asked at the dealer for a nice box to ship a saw in this morning but the recycling/carboard dumpster was emptied this morning so no decent boxes were to be found.

some guy in Ohio.
sounds like a complete tool :)
last time (only time) I saw race chains in person guys were talking chip velocity, raker tailspin, bumper exit angle and filed Peruvian channel-ways and I just assumed they were using chain with no life left to amuse themselves at first but once I have a piece in my hand to study I have a feeling I will have another new hobby (obsession, whatever).

Now I am on the prowl for some nice bars to go with the zippy chain :)

I cheated because Bob had sent me two original chainsaw shipping boxes in the last week, but it took me two days of staring at them to realize they were there.

If we go out tomorrow I'll get it in the mail. We've got almost 6" of snow today and I don't feel like getting out with the idiots.

Mike and Kevin made me a few chains that changed things for me,I'm no slouch round filing but the square warlocking is amazing.
Very fast but you gotta have a saw that will run one of them mean chains.

I look forward to meeting this hot 064/066. I know of a couple good 1122's and 390's. Very nice thing you did Mike!!!

Stop down Shawn I got a few saws that need running. :)
I need to know where to buy cants somewhere in Ohio, Columbus would be perfect, all i have ready access to is tree service fallings and I don't want to mess up real chains on bark, dirt and knots.

Isn't a 390 just a farm and ranch saw :)

I just realized that after the top end on the saw headed to Jason gets swapped I will have more 064 cylinders not less:facepalm:

I can relieve you of the 064 cylinder on the saw you sent if you want rid of it.

I've not ran a 390 that will hang with a good 064/066,Scott builds a stout 390 they say but I don't believe they'll hang with the 064 hybrid that he or I can build.

Don't take it as bashing a 390 there a fine running saw.

No horn tooting fella.
I said I've never ran a 390 that was as strong as a good 064/066.
I haven't or never will say one can't be I said I've not ran one.
I've owned many very good running 390xp just not as good as the stihl.
Also bring my own chain won't compare one saw to another very well, seems as though we would just be comparing chains.
