Well, I have read all 1001 pages.
I've gone 3 or 4 pages into this oil thread. But I just don't have the attention span. I start thinking of random things like:

What is the best kill scene in a movie?
Answer:

Or: what is the best girl power song from the 90's?
Answer:
Tlc scrubs

Did the world forget about garbage pale kid cards from the 80's?

Answer:
Hopefully Not!

I sometimes get confused about which is the 40 and which is the 1 when I mix too...
Had a MS170 Friday that had the fuel tank full of bar oil and bar oil tank full of fuel.

Don't see why they can't make them run either way.

Probably quicker to run the oil feed line to the carb and the fuel line to the oiler than it is to explain what the issue was. That way, nobody comes away with hurt feelings.

its 25 bucks a quart plus 12 for shipping 37 bucks for a quart of two stroke mix thats a little steep. like they said in the video the shipping cost comes way down if you buy a gallon. it might pay off over the life of a saw that is used in logging or some other form of daily abuse for 6-8 hours of run time. maybe it will help a saw have a longer life but its too new to know that and the only way to tell would be to run controlled testing for months.

Have anyone try this?
I knew someone would mention this soon.. it worked out to about $120/gal delivered to me here in PA (expensive I did NOT buy) sadly, hearing and seeing his "testing" I'm not interested in it.. one of the parts of the video he says "the heat measurement is important but we can't measure from the exhaust because that'll just show the heat from combustion, measuring the heat from the cylinder shows the heat from friction inside the engine"
I might have slightly misquoted that as I watched it day it came out, but that was the gist of it and all the temp measurements.. I can only remark as to how ridiculous that is! Probably 99.99% or more of all the heat is entirely from combustion, if there was enough heat from friction to be measureable the cylinder would be toast in 1 tank.
The guy (Boedy I think is his name) stands to make a fair bit of $ off of this oil, so his testing and his support is highly suspect. The whole video was one long and at times absurd sales pitch.
I hope Joe doesn't partner with him on this and if he allows use of his dyno for testing that he makes sure to stay honest and not allow it to be used as a sales tool, it might be a great oil! Time will tell but so far the "testing" and marketing I've seen from this here video has only pushed me away.

I've seen many of these wonder oils over the years. You really think some guy in his garage stumbled onto something big the oil companies don't know about?

I don't believe it's actually certified. If you are talking about thr stuff in the blue bottle it's pretty good. The spectro in the black and gold bottle isn't that great.

Right now it’s Ipone Scooter semi-syn at 32:1 JASO FD - it’s on the JASO certified list - not a “meets the requirements” oil. And unburned smells like strawberries and burned always reminds me of cotton candy but my nose is jacked up from working in a petrochemical facility so it could be strawberries.

I have a lot to use up- Motul 800, Castor 927, Honda HP2, Red Armor, Husqvarna XP and Klotz Techniplate. Maxima K2 is on order. As an old amateur motocrosser I’m partial to Maxima - especially since Belray sold out to Calumet.
