An 044 with a couple thousand hours on it isn't convincing enough?
So you use the 7000?

Currently, yes. I picked up a quart from tree monkey while at his gtg.So you use the 7000?
@tree monkey and redbull have the details. It's Scott's 044.Please do tell , I’m interested in hearing about it.

Why would the tcw3 be frowned upon? Outboards are aircooled right?
They are. Water jackets through the heads and the tcw3 is much thinner oil for injection systems. Alota tcw3 says it can be used in premix too but the aircooled oils are much higher viscosity and shouldnt be used in tcw3 injection systems. Also in a tcw3 application the operating temps are much lower than in air cooled engines and Im sure the oils are formulated differently for each job? Just thinkin out loud fellowsI think most of them are water cooled, but I'm not a boat guy.
As thin as most tcw3 oils for injection systems are it would probably be smart to mix 32to1What ratio you guys running the 7000 at?
Theres a reason the 9000 has more in the makeup of the oil and cost more.Sounds very enticing Keith.
