Seeing your posts wants me go try and use a mineral oil in my ported saws.

Ben any thought on this? Should I go back to 2R or Super M?

Also I do remember Mobil1 not storing well.

So for storage I could mix up some 2R and run a tank of fuel of it and fog away?

Neither 2R or super am are mineral oils. It's actually pretty hard to find a straight mineral oil now days.
2R is certainly never a bad choice.

Which 2 stroke oils use mineral oils?
Most use mineral oils, including Red Armor. However, most are blended with other synthetic base stocks. This isn't a bad thing and offers some advantages.
You would have to do allot of digging to find a two cycle oil formulated with only mineral oils.

Also have an anaconda and yes my fil loved to load hot loads with H110 behind 240 gr hornady xtps. Everybody always thought I was nuts for shooting such hot loads. Shot several deer with this load. They dropped like they got hit with by a Mack truck.

Non ethanol fuel and let you saw idle for a while it will load up and lube everything. or crc engine store fogging oil but you might break a pull rope unless you flood your saw with fresh mix

I run ledgend zx2 sr oil at 32 :1 . Im sure it would be fine at 40:1 but its well priced and smells good so i dont mind the extra oil. It realy is good stuff and leaves the engine super clean inside. Iv used it in snowmobiles and boatmotors and it actualy does cause them to idle a bit higher. Never had any issues due to lubrication using it.

I tried a few tank fulls of Amsoil Saber in 2 different saws. To be honest, I felt that Motul 800 was a little better. A little smoother running. Just me I guess. I am not even sure what to look for, but just going by my seat of the pants feel when running the saws.
Let's see what I have to try next. :)
