What oil is best? and what ratio?

Ryan Red Armor is supposed to have good cleaning additives in it. Don't know if it's true but the bottle says it does.

I put my piston all down and use a small screw driver and old tooth brush to scrape it away.

Thats what ill probably do if anything...im gonna go run the balls out of it with some klamzoil or K2 and see if it cleans it at all.

Id use 800t or red armor at a low ratio if u wanna clean her

I dont think i have either of those locally..ill ask around.

I have stihl , K2 , walmart synthetic , klamzoil and HP2...which one will clean it best ?

If that carbon isnt crusty and built up too bad Id leave it . A small bit isnt gonna hurt

Its pretty crusty..and it put a small scratch on the front of the piston but it doesnt seem to bother it at all..the 346s i got in my last load have the same exact thing.

I don't know if it runs any cleaner then the Dolmar synthetic. But both seem to run real clean. I need to go run my saws been to long

Scotch brite pad on a die grinder cleans crowns well. If its really bad just clean it properly including exhaust port.

It will all be wet and start sending it out the muffler. Just have to dump it out later.
