Doesn't really matter to me as I have zero interest in trying it.
Just a bit taken back by the price.

So Ben I have a question, is it worthy go judge an oil by residual left on a piston upon shut down after a cut? I realize that idle time affects this observation

I think it may scare some people not seeing a tremendous amount of oil. I think of it more recently like only a little is between the cylinder and piston, Also think 1 tank is not enough to pull a muffler to check residual.... 1 bad tank of mix can kill any saw, If it cuts after 1 tank it should be good especially at 32:1.

I have about 2 gallons mixed up with Super M. It is a very liked oil at the one Honda shop I stop in at, the guy sells more of Super M than K2 and 927.

The price was much better than K2 lol, also grabbed another qt of today as well, Fixing a 95 YZ250 this weekend so I might have to run some K2 in that with a little 110.

Sent from my non internal combustion device.

Many things effect residual oil. Oil brand isn't one of them....

Migrate from the oil?

Migration time is determined by load and rpm.

Not used KL200 nor ever seen it. I am curious what is so special about Klotz third rate product?

If I am correct, it is the only full synthetic bike oil in their line up, minus R50.

I think there is another one but not have seen it personally.

Nothing wrong with R50 but it seems a little excessive for OPE use.

Might have to mix some up today to get that smell haha

Ben I know for a fact when I test for residual I use same saw, same fuel, same ratio and shut it down after several non stop long cuts in the middle of a cut and check each oil the same way. Its no doubt some oils leave more residual and migrate better than others when used under the same condition. Kl200 being the best Ive personally seen and it combust well , smells great, and the cost is pretty good
