A lot of the low cost oils come out of the same gozillion gallon vat that the name brand oils do. Do you really think Yamaha, echo, honda or stihl make oil for forks sake? They specify their requirements, the contract goes to tender and the LOWEST bidder gets the gig.

Which is why standards are important. It gives the consumer proof that a certain oil is what it claims to be.

Never saw that before and I'm feeling pretty old.
You gotta have some age to remember it, I used it in a new chevy truck, engine got a rod knock about 10'000 miles. It ruined a lot of engines. they were sued out of existance. junk was coal black. But I had worked with Graphite on printing machine gears and it was great stuff, but not good in motor oil. learned valuable lesson that year. always let others try new stuff out before you do.lol I will stay with Delvac 1300.

You can always justify another saw.

I remember it from the 70's.
I think that's the right name. Anybody else know?

No, it was a old cardboard blue & white can. My dad always told me not to touch it. It was just for his car.
