Me neither, I pour two bottles of the ultra in and about 3 1/2 gallons of gas. don't have a clue what ratio it comes out to. been doing that for years and saws and brushcutters and blowers run good and have not needed no attention yet. All of my Stihl equipment is several years old.

That.1 may be too much.lol 99% of the lawncare guys here don't care about oil ratio. most will use a decent oil, some don't. Most have stihl and echo equipment. Our main concern is will the equipment start and do the job cause there's always another yard to move onto. You will see there stuff hanging off trailers and have seen a crapload of gas through them. none will ever get the muff or cylinder pulled to check it out. Most when they die will go buy another, they won't fix it unless it's something simple. No tellin how many tanks of gas mine have through them. Wouldn't even try to guess. I do take care of mine better than some. some leave em on the trailer out in the rain. I will say if you're going to abuse or really use the equipment, best not to buy Ryobi or cheap crap. they won't hold up regardless of what oil you use..

That's why I like 40:1 it's plenty of oil and it's simple to mix 8 oz to 2.5 gal or 16oz bottle to 5 gal or a quart to 10 gallon batch. I usually buy 8 or 16 oz bottles and mix enough gas so that I just dump the whole bottle in the can.

I actually thought you would say the deposits don't look that great for the run time. Would K2 actually run cleaner than what i'm seeing or relatively the same.
You've seen both run on your saws.
Give it some time. Looks like a ne
engine to me.
Differences in oil aren't apparent after minimal run time.

Ultra was brought about as a band aid to fix issues with the 4-mix engine.
More than one guy has posted pics of motors ran on it that looked terrible.
Oh well, been running them for years on it, guess their ugly inside. Long as they start easy and run it's fine with me. I darned sure am not going to tear one down to find out.

if you mix those bottles to 1.5 gallons of gas will give you roughly 37 to 1 which is so close to 40 to 1 you would not be able to tell the difference ,every 4 oz to 1.25 gallons is 40 to 1 if helps at all ,my no spill can is 1.25 gallons and has a mark ,so half a bottle of saber works perfect for me for the little can ,and it has a mark per oz on the side of the bottle so no ratio rite needed .

I used ultra for a while. Got a few sixpacks when I bought the 192 last spring.
I ended up giving one Sixpack away. The smell gets me though and it was leaving a lot of gunk on the exhaust. So I ended up giving a Sixpack away.

Thanks, They don't smoke much and I don't smell it either. but my nose is not the best in the world. I know it says to run it 50 to 1, but I always like to run a little richer. I have an old evinrude two stroke boat motor that says to run 100 to 1 in it.
