This topic pops up again and again, whispers and rumors.
Kevin is a great guy, I have had positive dealings with him and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.
He told me about his bad experiences with Eric in the past.
I have also had positive dealings with Eric and I consider him a great guy as well.

How is this possible and what's a fat lazy saw nerd to do?

The two things are not mutually exclusive.
Life is too frickin' short for enemies, I take both guys as I find them, same with plenty of other guys who might be divisive figures.
To me both are great guys and good friends.

Well said Dave,
There are always untold parameters, confusion in what's expected from each other, egos, and other things that can create tension in any relationship, business and personal. I don't personally know either of these guys, and it's possible that anyone on this forum is a total dirtbag. And most of us are decent, but there is always someone who will think otherwise.

oil?
Stihl HP ultra in the gallon jug for trimmers and blowers 50:1
Belray H1R at 32:1 in the chainsaws and ported saws except the EC and JMS saws that run Klotz Benol at 32:1
If a builder recommends an oil I figure they have a reason and I'm not gonna save a few pennies inserting my own uneducated opinion :)

Have you used enough to say its truly the best?
Enough to know there is a difference in other oils and Klotz. Ive seen the insides of alot of equipment running it. U wont find a better oil imo. No need for different oils in different equipment just use kl200 at 42to1 and it will run fine in everything
