What oil is best? and what ratio?

Agreed on the 064, but what oil should be ran in it? Or is it better to just place it on a shelf and admire it?

Klotz original. I started with it in 2008 and have come full circle back to it twice. I'm done chasing unless this dumonde will be faster for cants. It's too expensive to run in everything.

You run any klotz in one 064 and you just admire the other ones.

Mine is one of those you drag out occasionally for big stuff, but feel guilty for getting it dirty.

I know you wondered what I thought of K2???

I really,really like the stuff, it was cleaner burning than klotz at 32:1 however like klotz I believe it could be ran at 40:1 with no issues. Had no smell to it really. Clean burning was cool but it was not the reason I ran it, it left a good amount of residual inside the crankcase as the picture showed.

I have about a half gallon left or so.

Haven't ran any in a while though mostly due to me getting on the oil trial and error kick lol

Stuff was/is expensive though. However it is a top tier oil.

Klotz is a fair bit cheaper than K2. Really have no complaints with the Klotz oils I have ran so far. The KL200 is some good stuff.

Really interested in an another tear down with the super Techniplate.

I'll say that this one holds above 13k in the wood, 404 used RS, but I can't claim 12"

Holding 11,900 in the second cut (thats a .404 7 tooth, 25" bar in oak with a nice knot in the middle)

Did some different numbers on this one and got over 1000 more rpm in the cut
