We've had a few of those 57's at my side job shop, they don't stay under the glass for long.
Appreciate the feedback.
What's your thoughts on 57's as personal carry weapons?
Vs .9mm or .38 special?

I'd be worried about over-penetration for street use. If for Zombie Apocalypse, then it would probably do fine.
Yep, I've read a lot about that and checked some videos. Seemed like there would be a round like a wadcutter type or something that would remedy that.:confundio1:
But, it does fly mighty fast!:lily:

I haven't shot Taurus or been around them since the 90s when the pt100 and pt92 were still made on berreta
Machinery in Brazil.
Several of us shot idpa with them until I found
Cz75s
I ended up with the g3 she preferred the g2cView attachment 247094
I have over 500 rounds through the g3
Flawless shooter very accurate good trigger.
250+ through the g2c no issues i like the g3 trigger better.View attachment 247095My friend wanted a g2c
So we went to gun store's today.
Cabelas pistol racks is virtually empty even through they are overpriced.
Two Bridgeport equipments and a rural king
said they sell as they arrive
I was lucky the one's i bought last week arrived that morning.
I'll buy a g3c 9mm or wait until the g3c when .40 it comes out.
You get a lot of gun for the money.
How far are you from Cabela's?

I have about 800rnds through the g3 no failures.

You guys have any first hand experience/ knowledge on pmr30's? Are they any good (plinking not edc)?

I got to shoot one a short while back and was pretty impressed for a uber light 22mag. Felt cheap as heck but darn thing never skipped a lick.

I've had one for a number of years. I had some feed issues with Armscor ammo, but after switching to CCI Maxi Mags, it's been flawless. It's butt ugly but what it lacks in aesthetics, it makes up for in light weight and capacity. The trigger is no worse than a lot of other plastic pistols and better than most.
The gun shoots better than it should.
I carry it in a Simply Rugged pancake holster from Rob Leahy.
The design of the holster keeps the gun tucked in tight and coupled with the light weight, at times, I forget it's there. For around the farm carry, it's a good small caliber option. With 30rds on tap, I don't need to carry an extra mag.

I'm a Glock guy. I usually carry my G19 or my G26, depending on the time of the year and/or my concealment requirements. If concealment isn't an issue, I might carry my G22 (pretty much my nightstand pistol now) or my G34 depending on what I'm going to be doing.

All my Glock's are 3rd gen's. My carry ammo is Federal HST's, 124 gr. +P in my 9mm's and 165 gr. in my 40 S&W.

While, I'm mostly not a Glock guy, I DEFINITELY like the Gen IIIs better than the IV's and V's...
Edit: for about 2 years, I had a Blue Label GenIV G23 a my daily carry. I never could get used to it, either the trigger, or the grip shape. I don't mind the angle, as I love P08 Lugers and Ruger 22's. It also had much less leasant recoil than any other 40S&W in the inventory (between my Dad and 2 buddies we have/had 6x 40's between us). It went down the road and replaced with a P250 carry DAO.

I definitely appreciate the advances in materials and design, as far as modern reasonably high capacity 9mm and 40 S&W polymer pistols are concerned. I also appreciate the numerous, reasonably good or better quality of the designs, and competing price points driven by the market. BUT. I am still a fan of both revolvers, and hammer fired, single action triggered semi-autos, though the venerable Browning Hi Power, CZ-75, and Sig P220 still have a warm place in my heart. A well timed, good triggered single or double action revolver is something to behold in the hands of someone who knows how to use it.

Good little gun for the money.

The G3C is very scarce in this area. Many hand guns are scarce at best locally. People have begin to escalate their buying which seems to indicate they anticipate a problem arising soon.

I'm just bored on vacation and shooting at my buddy's idpa range
Trying out pistols i never shot before.
But i see what you mean
Certain ammo has virtually doubled in price in some stores20200822_163803.jpg 20200822_163218.jpg 20200822_163454.jpg 20200822_112958.jpg 20200822_113651.jpgaccessories and guns are readily available for the most part and haven't raised prices.
The big stores have low stock the overpriced cabelas because people don't shop around lol
A guy tried to buy my g3 as i was leaving rural king they had a couple of g3 fullsize
The Taurus g2c and g3c are really the hardest guns locally to find.
