It's sad...I remember a time when you could fill a shopping cart with whitebox, 100 round packs of of 9mm for 11.00
11.37 a box here
I would buy cases for idpa shoots on the weekends.

I put 250 124gr jhp reloads through it yesterday
No issue's at all
Hits poa poi
Really a good shooting compact i like their trigger system.
My 23 i can shoot better but it's much larger
Than the g3c
Good little gun for the money.
And it perfectly fits my glock 19/23 outbags leather holster.

I think RK gets guns and ammo from alot of different distributors. The G3 and G3c are both in ample stock at our local store. Strangely, Glocks are about the only handguns they are having trouble getting right now.

I definitely appreciate the advances in materials and design, as far as modern reasonably high capacity 9mm and 40 S&W polymer pistols are concerned. I also appreciate the numerous, reasonably good or better quality of the designs, and competing price points driven by the market. BUT. I am still a fan of both revolvers, and hammer fired, single action triggered semi-autos, though the venerable Browning Hi Power, CZ-75, and Sig P220 still have a warm place in my heart. A well timed, good triggered single or double action revolver is something to behold in the hands of someone who knows how to use it.

Love my Browning Hi-Power! One of the last ones made by FN, test fired in November 2016. I'll take some pics when I get a chance. It's always good to have choices. For a carry gun, I always go with something lighter, cheaper, and still in production.

Been wearing the SIG P320 sub compact.
Thus far I love it. Tested it out and not one flaw.
Very thankful

Both my sons are Glock fans. They own a few. Interestingly so they are both wearing the SIG P365XL.
The Gen 5 Glocks, can you say what the upgrades and changes were?

They also have orange colored followers in the mags (to bettervisualy identify an empty chamber condition (while in the weapon, slide to the rear), a semi-circular cutout on the front lower portion of the grip, to supposedly help remove a stuck mag (never seen that problem with any Glock), a bit of a revised recoil spring & guide rod arrangement, and some different sights (I believe) plus RMR ready cutout models. Other than that, they're still Glocks, for better and worse. The finger groove removal is a a welcome change, but I don't like the cutout, as it feels weird having your finger over a gap... And, the trigger is still crap.

Just picked up a Springfield Hellcat.
I really like the sights and it's got probably the best striker fire trigger I've pulled.

With my XD-s in .45 for size comparison.
With the extended mag, the grip is the same length as the S. The 9mm has less weight to it.

Good pick, we sell tons of them at my side job shop.

Speaking of ccw pistols, I've always been a huge fan of the Glock 42. Only thing I don't like is the really stiff trigger pull. The 42 has a shorter striker assembly but uses the same spring as the larger guns, hence it takes more effort to compress. Seems like the best solution is a lower weight striker spring and firing pin safety spring. I got these from Ghost for less than $10.00 shipped. Installed the parts and took it for a test drive. The trigger pull now feels the same as my Glock 26 and accuracy is much better.

For conversation sake....I'm not sure if a light trigger would be ideal for a weapon used to protect oneself under duress......

Target work...yes

Don't worry, it's not light by any means at all. That just brought it down to the same as my other pistols.
Get a few thousand rounds through one and everything "self"polishes and smooths out nicely! My main shooter G17 is stock although many many many rounds through it and the trigger now is noticibly better than the other stock but worked over G17 trigger I have. Now the ZEV set up i have is much better than both

I agree, Glocks break in nicely. My 19 has certainly done so. I have put alot of rounds through the 42 and the trigger pull never did get any better, I think because there is no amount of break in that is going to overcome a too long striker spring.

I Think I'm In LOVE!!!!

Inland Manufacturing M1 Advisor
Advisor.jpg

Advisor2.jpg

The M1 Carbine Pistol, the “Advisor”, features many of the same characteristics of the original Inland Carbines and are manufactured in the USA!

The “Advisor” M1 pistol is modeled after the modified M1 carbines that was a popular conversion made by US Military Advisors during the Vietnam Era. These “Military Advisors” found that the compact and reliable M1 carbine could be made even more suitable for their specific missions by cutting the barrels down to pistol lengths and utilizing either a cut down standard stock or the M1A1 folding stock, the folder was the stock of choice if they could get their hands on one. These modified M1 carbines were favored by the US Military Advisors as well as the Tunnel Rats tasked with clearing the matrix of tunnels and engaging in extreme close quarters.

The new for 2016 Inland Advisor, weighing in at 4.5 lb, is chambered in .30 carbine, features a 12” barrel with type 2 barrel band, adjustable rear sights, push button safety, round bolt, and “low wood” walnut stock modified M1A1 stock minus the wire portion of the stock making the “Advisor” a legal pistol. The Advisor includes a 15–round magazine and utilizes a 30–round mag catch to allow high capacity magazines. The barrell flash hider is a conical flashider and is threaded 1/2 x 28 tpi allowing the use of your favorite accessories with the same threads!

The modifications to the M1A1 Stock does allow for the re–attachment of the wire portion of the stock, however NFA rules do apply.

Caliber: .30 carbine

My best friend just bought a Kahr CW-380. Anybody have experience with these? I've had a few Kahrs and thought they were nice guns, however sold them because the trigger shape isn't friendly to my big fingers.
