That’s a no no, it would compete too closely to his 660.
Compete insinuates it would be close....

This month. Cool. Pics?About the same time you cut yours down Ken.
I’m not going to be able to send this saw, or most any other saw that I might do in the future, back to its owner with mismatched stuff. If I had to get 3 different tools to remove a cover with 3 fasteners, I’d be a little miffedNp on miss matched. You won't be replacing *s-word that doesn't fall off.
Fixted it for accuracyThat’s a no no, it would stomp a mud hole in his 660.

Sure. What would you do with a ported 395 and 42" bar, seriously. Do you do big trees.... I had no idea.
I run a 32 or 40 for the big ones but mostly on the mil with the 40.
Jeeesh. You guys are a tough crowd. Lol

I can't. Kenny says there are no trees here big enough for a hack like me to cut. I guess I only need a homeowner saw...
I knew that this time I read it 'cuz I read that the first time I read this thread. Thanks Doc !
Mattys tool is just propped there, I never pull or press a bearing into Magnesium, I allways heat the Mag and drop the bearing into place. I never even tried to use the 066 plate .......... great idea !!
The BIG mistake was that I drilled and tapped the top cover side bolt in the wrong location. The calipers show where the center of the hole should be. I didn’t realize the cover I used was tweaked from heat....... so I had to weld it again to fill the hole, then used a new cover and the calipers to do it the correct way.
