I have a few 262s and a couple 562s. I like those saws too.....but the 357XP just gives me a boner.

I have a few 359 carcasses.....maybe.......just maybe.

Haven't voted and won't. The only 60cc saw I've owned is a 262xp. I prefer 50 and 70cc saws.

I've had a stock 562xp for 4 years, have no complaints at all. It is faster than any stock 60cc saw I've run and smoother than any saw! Hell it's faster than a lot of ported 60cc saws I've run.lol

That said, a ported 357 just does it for me! It's like a 346 on a big dose of steroids!

I'm not sure the cranks are the same......surely the 359 crank would need some clearance work....

357 & 359 cranks are the same, but the xp has stuffers. Cases are same also.

The 359 jug is 'designed' for the open case, where the 357 jug is 'designed' for stuffers.

Left stock the stuffers make a stronger saw with the 357 jug.

Porting can change all this.

I ran a 3400 for 20 years, good saw, but not in the same league as modern 60cc saw.
