My angles are not the greatest, but how not fun would that be!

My angles are more laid back to be aggressive, once you can learn how to file and re-file, longevity no longer becomes an issue.

These ones will dull out in 3/4 of a tank, but the first half is a pure joy.

Did not get there over night, took lots of repetition to get my muscle memory down.

i dont know what brand they have but madsens has them. i think they are swiss made files. their number is
3607361336 they prolly have an 800 number that is just what i have in my phone

@Squareground3691 mainly, dry ash, dry beech and dry hornbean. Those are some of the hardest woods around here when seasoned for five or more years.

Makes manipulation easy due to the loss of weight, but it sure tests my sharpening skills and setting up the chain for different type of species skills.

Does anyone know where to buy one of these? The double bevel file I have is worn out, and from what I’ve read, the Vallorbe double bevel is the best.
