A red 372 with round work chain that I cut timber down with last week was as fast as the fastest stihl hybrid you had and beat all the others you had. Shots fired!

There was more than 1 372 ran in that cant . The one in the last video that ran 11.93 is the saw. It had the best chain out of my saws.

how come it has to be the same chain?
Is it because some can’t sharpen?

Because it is the only fair way to compare power heads, which was the objective.

I sharpen work chain, there are people far better at sharpening race chain.

That is a very respectable time, a virtual tie. But, to compare power heads, all should use the same chain. Round file can be made very fast!

FYI, this just started out between Jeff and I to determine whose 460 was stronger (both done by Dr Al). The rules were established then, and others asked to join in (and we said fine!). We even allowed 7900s and 372s to compete. The entries grew fast!

That cant was very tough, all the saws did well.

But I will (hopefully) have another at the CT GTG. I just did the porting today, hopefully fire it up tomorrow. This will be my own port work.

It's really just for fun guys. A great group of guys coming together and just having fun. And bragging rights. That's it.
