I didn’t hear any 4 strokin in that piss rev. I’d say you’re running on the ragged edge of too lean, especially in the cut.
This^^^^. Sounds a little lean to me. That's a brand new saw that hasn't got much run time yet.
Personally I'd fatten up the high side some and then retune it in the wood to where is cleans up in the cut.
Just my thoughts. I'd hate to see someone burn up a $1000 saw in less then 2 tanks of fuel.
Oh and the muffler mod looks great. Nice and clean.

I'd say you need to fatten her up a bit, especially since it needs to break in yet. 395/4 aren't about speed, but rather powa. I think you got a good taste of that powa in your first vid, dog that sucker in and try to make the chain stop and clutch slip.

Like the other guys, I would recommend a tune with healthy 4-strokin' in a piss rev that does clean up on the cut. After two or three tanks of fuel, lean it out a little bit from there but not too much. Those saws' bread and butter is big bars and long cuts. Those engines will build alot more heat in that situation than a 50cc will limbing a tree.

This is my woods ported 394 tuned to 12.9k. Note how you can hear a 4 stroke grunt when I reset on the dogs, that’s how I like mine tuned for work. This is very small wood for the saw but still enough to get it good and hot with successive cuts. I could definitely tune it higher but I think it runs stronger at this tune. 394/395 are long bar muscle saws, max power is made with more fuel at a lower RPM. Which I’m sure you know so please don’t take this post as condescending. Just talking bud.

I thought it was strokin'. Maybe just excessive dB overwhelming the mic? But I'd make sure after heating it fully in the cut.
That’s what I was thinking. Just the way the likely distorted audio comes through on my phone.
