I think you are going to want that second deflector mounted a little higher.... Did you check for clearance with it mounted lower like that?

Yes. Layed it out on saw. No hole yet so it can move. I'l put it together and take a pic see what yous think

Here is the dual port location just held with screw for now no hole yet so can be moved. Also the hole I cut in the tube. I also removed the flap on stock port. Anyone see any issues??

I'd still raise it. Mine are stacked. With a larger sprocket, and a slightly loose chain, the cutters nick the bottom of the deflector

New muffler is in paint now. I did raise slightly no chance chain will hit. I opted not to cut tube at all only the flap at the bottom. That makes a clear path for exhaust to back wall. What comes out stock port we will see. Dual I opened to max the 288 deflector would allow. No we wait

On a am muffler I cut that flap and the baffle ended up coming apart shortly after. I suspect it lost its structural rigidity as it’s welded on both top and bottom.

OEM muffler and I left a thin strip, only took what was visible through port.

They like to be a little rich if you're running a long bar. Youll love it.

Since I have no baseline to go off since I started project after only a little idle run, I think this saw sounds rich. I'm surprised, but hesitant to adjust since I haven't even worked it yet. Saw was well warmed up before vid. This would be new to me to lean it out after mm. Opinions welcome

Sounded rich to me also. Factory specs are 12,500 wot
