So, couple weeks ago I received this saw from getting turnt up by the doc. 261 ported, with meteor 262xp piston and awesome custom muffler mod. Al's work is second to none. Finally had the time to put it to the test, and it did not disappoint. Has power to spare. Well done @drf255

Cutting dead oak, can't believe the rpms this saw holds in the wood. Chain got loose at the end, dang adjuster screw fell out.

I looked around for it for a few minutes, then I had to give up. Probably have better luck finding the remote to my teevee.

I have the cure...

There is a tiNY piece of rubber that holds the adjuster in. Throw this away. Find an eclip.....that is the correct size. Grind on the case a little to make sure the Eclip freely rotates. Done.

If you don't have a clip that is the right size...stop what you are doing and head down to either harbor freight or get the Dorman one from pep boys....these assortments are super good

It's gonna rip. Doc's got those jugs nailed down. Hang on tight, hope you have enough carb for it. And thanks for your help, sir. Moochus grassius
No such thing as thread jack here, everyone welcome, even the Bush monkey. He's funny as hell.
Im totally going to thread jack this...

Got a cylinder from the doc as well for a 262xp. It is nicely done. Will be going in a saw asap...just need to find a few hours to put it together. Well done doc Al!

I was here two days before you, james.

BTW, Henry Ford said on competition: "He that does a thing best ought to be the one to do it." He would rather hire someone with the initiative to learn and the volition to make it effective than an expert. He said he would prefer to send all his experts to the competition. I see you are from Michigan. Look into it.

From what I gather, he was a good man. Michigan's favorite son, helluva football player. You gotta be alright to have an aircraft carrier named after you.

I think ol' Henry would've kept me around, I'm not an expert on anything. I am, however, full of useless information.
