I thought I knew all about him but I didn't know he played ball. I figured his Dad didn't let him. My Dad let me play. That was alot easier at two-a-days than bucking bales for Dad but you still had to go home and put up hay. (Still do) dang not learning much but lovin' it. Dad's long gone but that damn hay is back about every four days....

Al builds a darn nice saw, and the flavor seems not to matter, just pull the trigger on one of his 036/360s!

That 262 looks awesome, enjoy it. Everyone loves a good running saw!

Thanks cus, only ran it that one time with a short bar. I'll let you know how it does with a 20" and a square chain.

Must be the one in 60 CC shootout at the GTG. Looks like it's ripping even better that at GTG... holding serious RPMs in that oak... looks like he's cutting pine!

When I did my initial shake down of the saw, I noticed the rim was plum wore out. I know how the worn out ones feel without looking because of the drag they put on the chain. (My dad runs them until the chain won't move anymore)

I'm willing to bet said rim was holding the saw way back at the gtg. No knock on the doc, it was just fine to run, just dragging a bit.

you havent answered cus' question: 2 shoe or 3? I'm curious myself because I just built a 261/262 hybrid with the 2 shoe clutch that cuts wood like a beaver but doesnt have any engine work. Always heard 3 shoe if it has had engine work.

Has stock 2 shoe. Worked fine with a 16" bar in hardwood, have to see how it does with a longer bar.
