Where about are you in va? If you are close, we could hook it up to my vac gauge.

Update to saw number 2. I blocked off the exhaust with a silicon mat that I had. Reinstalled the exhaust with it behind it. I then blocked off the carb the same way. Took the impulse line to the mighty vac and blocked off the impulse line nipple off the intake area. I am not holding any pressure or vacuum. I cannot get it to hold a reading. Am I doing something wrong?

sounds like a leak .presurize it and spray windex around the gaskets and crank seals ,even the decomp button could be leaking
I will try that. But it's not pressurized at all. I'll pump the mityvac and nothing comes up on the dial. The Silicon I put on the muffler side come out a bit like some things blowing on it but returns quickly.. Seems like there is a gapeing hole somewhere. Muffler blocked, intake behind the carb blocked and intake nipple that leads to the impulse, blocked. Impulse to the vac. Correct?

Ding! Ok I could pressurize it with an air hose. I'm going to try that. Maybe I should take off the clutch and flywheel to see if it's leaking from there.

You will need the clutch and flywheel removed. And hook your air hose up and use very little psi. Spray it with soap and water or fill 5gal bucket and drop the whole thig in it!

Seals will pop at about 15 or 20 psi. Plug the decompression or spray some stuff inside it and spin it around to try and get it to seal. After you remove the clutch and flywheel lay the saw on its side and spray windex around the seals and watch for bubbles. If you still can't find it, while it's on its side, I dribble some bar oil around the seal while under vacuum. The oil will seal the leak and it'll start to build vacuum.
