Had to pick this bad boy up n set it on blocks so I could noodle it.

A recent photo. We put cement board around the bottom to discourage the porcupines.

The sides are just stained plywood.

Yea, thanks. It is on a Mtn Top near Hancock NY, with views of the Cannonsville Reservoir (the last one in the NYC system, it is where the Catskill Aqueduct ends). (about 2,000 feet elevation)

I built the cabin in an old Bluestone Quarry. That part of NY and PA is the only place they get real Bluestone. Very useful for walkways, etc, because it is porous, so you do not slip on it when it is wet.

Exactly! Here I am windging (not the right spelling I believe) our ford Mondeo (don't thing you have them on your side of the pond, but isn't the same platform as a mazda 6) through the swamp.
