OK, lets get back to the important part, the one where we see pictures of your felling cuts, stumps, muffler mods, saws, other equipment too. Pictures of sharpened cutters and for the love of all humanity, let us know what oil & ratio you use. For Jeefus, he’s going to be wanting a few air filter pictures, he’s strange, but he’s family, so we just post them and try not to imagine what he’s doing with them ...........

I'm bad at remember to take pictures, so I'll try and take my camera out with me next time we fell some trees and start up the mill.

Hey now!!! Come on. Lol
When I look at a saw I like to look at the whole saw. Filtration is very important. If the filter looks cheap I won't buy the saw...
Exactly. If they didn’t take care of the filter do you think they took care of the rest of the saw.... Nope. I look at the whole saw when I buy one too.

I think it is a combination of genetics and upbringing and/or life experiences. Even what you watch on TV when you are young influences (when Mission Impossible aired several of us wore long sleeve black turtle neck shirts in the middle of the summer so that no one could see us at night!).

Also, I have many attributes from my Uncle (my Dad's brother) and my brother's son has many of my attributes, so the gene thing is not always linear.

IMO, the most important reason for success is persistence!

Indeed, persistence must be taught/learned. It's hard to teach persistence and delayed gratification when cheap smart devices are everywhere. Now everyone is trying to figure out how to get their child to go to school on the devices.

You dont hear of or see many in Sweden running vintage 90 cc stihls.
There are quite a few 064's around considering 90+% of the saws you see here are 50cc or smaller. They were the go to for milling, all the ones I have had my hands on have come with a picco spur sprocket, low profile filter and horrendously choked up muffler.

She's gonna be finished by the estate owner. Mostly heavy varnish from what I understand. Resin. Good stuff.
I asked they send a pic once finished. This is sort of a community project, really. I was asked to fell and carve a tree by the estate owner that donated the wood.
Some other folks will do the finishing. What ya see there is all chainsaw from me. Dunno if they plan to do any more finishing other than varnish.
