Here's two jobs that me and @Scotty Overkill did.

Me about 70 ft up in a dead oak. Had to take off 4 big branches before we dropped it whole.

Scotty going in for the kill. Weapon of choice to drop this one was my 661 with a 36" bar. This tree was about 4 ft at the base.

Here's one from today. Scotty's turn up in another big oak. A few big branches needed to be dropped before we dropped the top. The weapon of choice to top this big boy was the trusty 064 with a 28" bar. It was just able to make it in one cut

I went down to Westchester and wacked up a Tulip tree that had come down in a storm. Broke off about 20' up and just missed a shed and was laying across 3 properties (wend down near the corner).

Started out using my MOFO 462 (24" bar) till it hit something in a rot spot and the chain abruptly stopped feeding, then switched to my MOFO Hybrid (28" bar) just in time to handle the wider girth of the tree.

My friend was grateful that I came over, and very impressed with the saws. The local tree companies had given him huge estimates for dispatching it. Prices in Westchester get very expensive, it is the first County above NYC!

Tipped this one over along with a few others tonight for a friend. The cleanup should keep him busy for awhile.

Thanks. Yeah that's how I cut most.
Awesome.
I've got a bud who's been injured twice by tree's using funky felling skills or lack thereof...he hates to use notches!!
I told him. "You're living on borrowed time & the clock is ticking bro!" :lily::lily:
