I'm gonna try....again.
Remember when we were kids, and someone told us that "if we didn't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything"?
Sadly, as grown men it appears that we didn't listen very well to their advice.
There is no single moment when the us VS them attitude began on this forum, but it is here, and we have to deal with it.
At this time the worst of it seems to stem from young Mason Super Hero Logger Man being a wise ass to his elders, and some of his click rushing in to take his side. That caused resentment on the other side, and things sorta deteriorated from there. I'm sure feathers were rustled some prior to that, but from my perspective (and honestly I try not to watch this space daily) that is where I see the most disruption. Just calling it like I see it fellas. You don't have to agree with my assessment.
One member asked last night for me to close his account because he would rather leave than continue on here with the child like drama. Losing long time members over this behavior is not acceptable.
I can't divide the forum into two parts where you fellas never rub up against each other, and all of you are valued members of this forum who add good content. In my eyes you are all great guys. I've met most of you in person, and can say with confidence that there are none who wouldn't step up to help another in any way possible. I can also honestly say that if just a few guys could learn to avoid each other here, the place would run like a Swiss watch. You know who you are.....and you know the problems you will cause for me when you click that reply button.
I personally asked one of our long time members if he would try avoiding commenting on these type of situations.....and he did. I respect him greatly for doing what he could to make my life less complicated. I would appreciate it if a few more of you men would try that as well.
