2511 is not a clamshell to my knowledge.

Port job would be more than the MS150 cost new...

MS150s are a disposable saw.

Just me...
If you want it ported, send it out and get it done...

Why are 150s disposable saws ? It's one of my favorite saws to trim/prune with.

Even if he had a rear handle it's the same saw as the top handle.

You don't use MS200ts or MS201tcs?
I'd probably run a 150t if I could get a decent one.

I use mine all the time and much prefer it over my husky 460 if I don't need the extra bar length.

Of course I use 201s... And 194s.

Here’s a little follow up on our red maple from splitting today. First I have a couple pics of the ripple grain we see once in a while. Then a couple of the incredible colors the early stage of decay can produce.

Oaks by me have the English Ivy ............ haven't seen it on anything else

Wow. So weird. It's mostly the red maples that have the ivy like that. I researched it. They are very susceptible to the ivy and it doesn't strangle them.

Here in Georgia I've seen English Ivy on all different species of trees including pines.

I just haven't seen much english ivy here in SW MI. Probably only a handful of times. The poison ivy grows on every kind of tree though [emoji1787]

I’d be ok with that but the logging company I work for is real ,, what’s the word? Cautious? Careful? They won’t do it. I’ve tried to get guys on before, they are a high-ball outfit and stick with the seasoned vet’s

10 years ago a 7 foot Sitka spruce. Didn't cut it down just took some 25 foot branches off. Bark made for some fun flipping the rope that and the 7 foot base.
