Yes. SorryYou mean "NON" resistor plug correct?

It takes some bending to make it work.Linkages on the three carbs I tried this morning WJ 48, 69 and Bing 49, throttle linkage and plate bound around half throttle.
I'm moving on to my chain.
It doesn't matter what is done to it to make it do what it's doing.I think Scott ask about the plug for a reason but not sure?
In my opinion with a limited coil a sparking plugged could vary results with the interference, but the temp of a plug could also alter that too if you have a cold plug getting very hot like a glow plug.Because it has a limited coil.
How could all these different people put a wj69 on one and not get a unlimited saw?
I have no doubt it's turning what the tach reads but it's not from just a wj69 like we are told, also if the coil is not limited what difference would a spark plug make?
Put a wj69 on one and screw the high shut and it will still 4 stroke or burble wfo no load, how can that be?
I'm not doubting that it's turning what it is but it's not just from a standard carb.
Everyone has gotten 14k from a carb but over time it will slow back down,go wow does that happen? The only thing left is the coil so how can it slow it down if you have control over the fuel and air?
661 left. Dont have flywheel pic on my phone.View attachment 64879
I can just see a monkey in a rockin chair with his feet kicked up and readin all this and laughin!!
I wonder if the gap between coil & flywheel changes anything (other than the timing).
Start to feel like kindergarten in here again

Oo cried the exact same way when he couldn't figure out how to fix the HDA199s.
Right coil is from a standard carb 261.
lol shhhhh i have a idea dan knowsI don't recall anyone showing interest in the port or ignition timing.
