All the large bucks I watch all summer have vanished like usual, but I'm starting to see scrapes, so they should start running soon.

This guy already has his whole right side broke off along with the left brow.

This is the one I really wish I knew what happened too. He was around all summer. Probably a thousand pics of him.

Then, I got new neighbors. With kids. With race quads. Who rode them sun up to sun down beginning labor day weekend when they moved in.

Never saw him again.


Ive talked to them about it, but they are an entire family of asshats. The kids ask my kids if they are annoying enough..

Thats him in the background here. I ended up getting the 12 point on the left the last day of season that year and was super excited about that because he was a good deer, but dwarfed by the other.

Congrats! That’s a dream buck!

Yeah he really is. A friend came and caped him and scored him last night at 180 6/8”.
We all guessed 160-165”. Definitely going to get him officially scored. He has 27” main beams, 23” inside spread and good mass throughout. His g2’s were 10”
Went through the numbers twice as we still didn’t believe it.

Had this guy at 50 yards a couple weeks ago but couldn’t get a shot. He’s the tallest dude I have ever seen on the hoof! Very cool season so far.

I would name this buck "safety harness" cuz u best be wearing one when he steps out! Liable to to fall out the tree when ur knees start clankin together
