Just an FYI, rust removal gel, I think it a permatex product, works awesome to clean up rusty bars like those, just apply, let dry, and remove with a wire wheel! It leave a great finish without grinder marks.

Can you get more details on the gel? I have a few I’d like to clean up.

$35 doesn't sound too bad.

I think the bar is an old General bar, and they didn’t have the finish like a cannon, were you can sand those and they look good

Wow looks nice. I have an old 3 rivet that I sanded for my 2100. Doesn't look as good as yours though. Sweet looking bars man!

So far the homie and one of the 125s are runners. The homelite definitely needs main bearings... Quite a howl on the upper end of rpm. The one 125 is quite smooth. Had runable fuel and fired up after a couple pulls. Put fresh in it and idles nicely and revs well. Couldnt be more happy right now!

That’s great! Are they chrome bores are iron?

Not real sure but judging by the AF covers the chrome bore is the runner but who knows at this point what is what. Anything could have been flipped or flopped. .
