Is that big sexy thing a runner? A while back some one posted cut time from a number of different saw and one of these stock was just fast.

Picked up a freebie 042 AV today from a friend. I don't know anything about them, but the price was right and it started fine after a few years sitting in his shed. It didn't come with a bar, the clutch side cover has a piece missing from it and someone did some grinding on the wrong clutch drum trying to make it fit. So it needs a good cleaning, B&C, new clutch drum and it will be ready for some test cuts. Kind of an interesting old beast. Does anyone have any info on these? Good or Bad? Worth? Thanks in advance.

A chainsaw buddy picked up a lot of saws today...a lot of good stuff. One diamond stood out though.

A never started JONSEREDS 111s!!! Should be getting pics from him tomorrow..so
I can drool lol. I think it will be hitting eBay sometime fairly soon.

Little bummed out on the outside condition of it. Sat in a shop for years, and has not weathered the greatest. He just posted pics on FB...a little disappointing. Really had my hopes up. Lol
