While it's technically yesterday's snag, my brother dragged this home for me. I know a TS350 is a good candidate to steal ign parts from to fix a MAG II with no spark, could I retrofit the 350 parts to work on a 2100 with the same ign as the MAG II's?

It depends - that looks like an early unit and it may have the Bosch coil. I don't think the flywheels/magnet structures will swap over to a Husky. The coil itself may swap over depending on what it is.

Would a later one be better? I have access to this guy, (kinda) a later 350, and (kinda) a 360, and I'm not opposed to pulling ignition parts off of (for example) the 360 and putting them on the 2100, then cannibalizing this guy to fix the 360.

Most of the later ones have the SEM ignition and know that some people have used those ignitions to fix 056s. I can't remember if very many 2100s used the SEM ignition/flywheel but Rod @EvilRoySlade would probably know.

I'd swear the flywheel on this 2100 was marked SEM and had 3 starter pawls, if that helps.

I know they used the SEM set for a while on the 2100, I'm just not sure how long. But if you have an SEM flywheel then you're probably good to go to use the SEM
ignition out of the 360.

Nice! What brand are they?
It is the Tecomec/ Oregon set (also sold under a few other names), so I know that the parts are readily available.

Why did you sell your good set?

Who said ‘sold’?

I have . . . a few . . . ways to join and repair chain. I like my Bailey’s set. This one is more of the ‘standard’ design, so I wanted to try it when a good deal came along.

The auction company got everything worked out and I ended up getting the car.

They are nice rides, I sold mine about 10 years ago. It had the V10, little lift and mud tires on it. The only thing I didn't like about it was trying to park in small parking spaces.

I like it, plenty of power if you're willing to sacrifice a bit more fuel economy, and lots of room inside for a bunch of gear.

Snagged this up Monday.
