Picked up two new tillys for my 036 and 361. Mounted the HE-20 on the 036 and there is wayyyy too much tension on the throttle plate mechanism. The throttle linkage is bending and the throttle plate opens less than half way when the trigger is fully engaged. Anyone else have this issue?

Is it tension only from the spring or is the throttle shaft or plate binding up somewhere?

Seems like it is From the spring like they used the wrong gauge wire. Very little tension on the choke shaft whuch has visibly thinner gauge wire.

Just installed the HE-22a on my 361, same deal although I can get the throttle plate to open all the way as the linkage is shorter and straighter. Pulling the trigger however is absurdly difficult compared to all of my other saws.

Well, unwound the spring on the 20a but it was too little tension and would not close the throttle plate when let off slowly. Contacted the seller and their technician said to just grind on it to relieve the spring. Seems a bit rediculous that you would need to grind on a new OEM carburetor to get it to function.o_O
