Heres some pics. New needle on left old on right. I do see a slight variation that i pointed out with the pic. The old shaft is a fuzz longer. Bit i had pressure problems with both so im ruling that out. Im gonna try and clean the seat and go from there. Thanks for the imput so far and i will keep u guys posted. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Poast edited: to add link for @JohnnyBlade because he couldn’t finger it out on his own. Sew I did it for him like I did his mom last night. Because I’m such a nice feller

Original up top. 2 in the new kit below. Which one would be best? Most kits ive done u use the tan one but this is my first tilly. Maybe the "it seems" thicker one is the way to go? IDK? Cleaned the seat real good with multiple tooth picks and paper towel till no more color came off. Then a lil more. Gonna put back to gether with tan diaphram and pressure test.

Heres my set up. The @StumpShot water trick reveals its leaking from the hole on top of the carb wer the pic is pointing. That means my needle still isnt seating properly. Now on another level it held pressure longer under water so i will market this one as an underwater chainsaw:D

going back in it looks likeimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

I use the tan ones. They seemed to have the best characteristics of the 3 or 4 different types.
Ya i know on the 199's the blue one comes out and tan goes in. So i always just used tans from then on. Thanks for the reassurance! Do u need an underwater saw Kev? Cuz i know a guy:D

Bump for a Tilly question, what saw does a HS149B go on? I found it in a bin of 044/056/066 bits and I’m hoping it’ll work on an 066, but I can’t find what it belongs on.

In case anyone is wondering, I found that a HS147 fits a P41 and the next closest models I've found fit Jobu and Roper saws, so I'm guessing it fits a similarly-aged model. I'm not seeing too many with a plastic fuel elbow like mine has, though.
