Throwing old chainsaws away

Back before I joined chainsaw forums there was very little use for old saws, they just cluttered up the shops so they got tossed fairly often, usually with a part or two missing. I have seen times where a dumpster had several hundred old saws tossed in. Matter of fact I seen a dump truck load going just a month ago from an old milling operation.

With all these offers for junkmans stuff. I might have to take a pick of my junk and post it.

Putting up pics of your "junk" can get you in trouble.......

I give mine to local kids interested in small engines. I try to give them something complete so that they might have a runner if they actually follow through with it.

When I saw a Mission Impossible TV episode as a 4 year old where he unscrewed a phone mic and planted a bug, it kindled an interest in taking apart phone receivers and other things. It wasn't going to end well especially since my brother was practicing how to draw jack 'o lanterns on everything with magic markers. Then a phone repairman for Bell caught on after talking with Mom. He gave me a whole crate of old phones to experiment with. The rest is history.

I listed all my junque over in the Miscellaneous section of the classifieds. You get 6.75 acres, a 3000 square foot building and virtually all the contents (9 trucks, 10 tractors, etc).

I usually find someone that needs the parts and give it away if it's not a runner and is a basket. kinda like giving a sandwich to a bumble type of feeling
