I have a strong urge to kill this tree....
It drops its leaves like in the first picture, fully green.
Never had any seeds of sorts that I could tell.

The 11 leaf says White Ash to me. It could be a hybrid of some Ash, as the bark is still strangely smooth for its size and age. Does it get single blade spinners for seed? If it is an Ash and it’s about 10” in diameter it’s to the point where it’s going to really start to grow fast ^3ft or more a year depending on rain and how consistently hot the summer is.

No seeds, yet.
It is just about 10" OD at its base.

It is too close to the house, if its crown wasn't as narrow & slender as it is I would have already cut it down.

It looks to be a perfectly healthy tree, unfortunately it got planted in the wrong place.

Sooner or later it will have to come down as it may jeopardize the safety of our house/roof.

Ah didn’t see ur over in the Mediterranean…..

The description of an were you are with approximately 11 leaflets and smooth bark most closely matches the invasive
tree of heaven(Ailanthus altissima) or the native European ash(Fraxinus excelsior), particularly when young.

...
Google Lens suggests:
- Pecan
- green Ash
- European Ash

Google Lens seems to agree on European Ash.

It is a beautiful tree, if only it hadn't been planted so close to the house! :(

Here’s a quick & final update after sawing em up and splitting a few.

Any suggestions?

Definitely not white oak, which is what I guessed from the end grain and bark. I'm not at all familiar with pecan, as it's not native here, so the folks that suggested it could very well be correct. I really enjoy learning from everyone else here, especially when it's things I haven't seen or done before. Thanks for posting this!

Like ^Junk Meister^ said looks like hickory maybe bitternut/slick bark type. Some hickory's dont get shag untill leater in life or just dont in general.

Ornamental Peeling Birch is my guess. They are known to get a leaf blight that is perpetuated from their own leaves dropping and reintroducing the blight back to soil and then roots. Only real solution is to vac the leaves all summer and burn them away from the tree.
