We got our first Sthil an MS 193 T top-handled tree saw. She may be small, but she's perfect for me as a climber.

I can assure you she's no toy.
She's not as big as some of the saws on this forum, but I need to climb trees w/ her.

I may get a bigger 18-20 inch for ground work.

Your HS 242/024 is sure cleaner than mine, however I used mine a bit. It's has way more power than needed and is about two pounds heavier than my hs181 with 30" blade. So now it sits likely going for sale.

I really dunno what to put for a price. I hate to ask for an offer but I don't know if it's a $300 or $600 machine. The 024 runs great after I put a new wt194 on it around 3 years ago. I might trade it towards a big saw as well.

what big saws interest you? I have less than $100. in my trimmer setup. its 026 in 024 covers, and do realize its a very low price. pm'd ya, curious if its ph and/or attachment.

Stihl MS231 - got hold of one of see the other day which was in pieces. Can anyone help out with the throttle lever / linkage set up? A couple of photos of the linkage would be great if anyone can take a couple. I have the IPL, but it does not show the actual set up very well.

Anyone else hear rumors of a 662 due out around November?

462 or something like that is the rumor.

I've heard about the 442/462 or what ever it is, but saw a new rumor about 662's. Supposedly stronger dawg set up. Beefier mounting for air filter,better engine cover mount. Probably fuel injected is what was said.
I find it hard to believe this is the case but the 261/362 updates snuck under everyone's radar.

I never expected the 261 & 362 upgrades so soon, but I have been expecting to see a 70 cc class upgrade for a while, especially with the 441 out of production.
