The early 6100 had problems with the intake hose. I don't know if it may apply to you.
The first intake hose version had number 130.131.030 to be replaced late 2013 with part number 130.131.031.
The latter was replaced with 130.131.032 about a year later. AFAIK the early hoses were replaced as goodwill.

I'm having some issues with my (early) 7900 leaking bar oil from the lines at the elbow, plastic thingy again.

I remember packing a O ring up against it years ago to hold pressure to stop it leaking but it's causing trouble again now so I better fix it properly

If I order part no. 038 245 020 is that the same as the old setup in it now or did they update the lines at some stage?

038-245-061 - updated pressure line
038-245-110 - suction line (the short piece between the case & pump)

The pressure line got updated, went from green to black IIRC.
I don't think the suction line got updated, may not hurt to replace it anyway after ~2 decades.

Thanks, I will order both and give it a birthday present

Might as well just add a pic of what it was doing on the weekend

Been a while since I was able to provide such a workout to mine.

I really miss playing with large OD firewood logs.
Chances are slim that I will ever again be able to source anything bigger than 24" OD. 😢

My late neighbor (cancer, survivor - then came back with a vengeance) was my only connection/source.
I'd either:
- place a firewood order and let him handle delivery whenever he'd encounter something he knew I'd like
- let him bring me whatever giant & knotty logs he would get that no one wanted and I'd pay him whatever price he'd ask for

The largest OD log he ever brought into my back yard was an oval Turkey Oak crown/branch trunk section 1.6m/5.25ft at its thickest, and a perfectly round beech trunk 1.2m/3.94ft OD at its base.
Those were fun!

Usually, when leaking at the elbow the culprit is the suction line inside the oil tank, number 038-245-020, because it seals the tank's opening.
That peace of rubber did cost 14,40 € five years ago. Now it's 45,50 €. I therefor bought a few SOLO lines from the 675/681. Those are mostly identical (you'll need to use the filter from your old lines) to the DOLMAR fare and did cost about 9 € each.

Looks like I can get both lines here for around $36AUD for the pair so I'll order them today

I'll put a post in the video thread of it running
