Not really. I own a 7900. It’ll run with just about any other $1300 saw at about half the weight. They are neat saws.

That's to much to pay for a saw that no longer has any factory support.

EDIT: maybe years doen the road it will be worth something as a collector?

I have one or two or 6 or more dolkitas. They're great saws, but $1300+ is just silly. If you're going to actually use the saw you can get a barely run mint saw for less than half as much. Maybe it's worth it to a collector or someone looking to flip it in a few years. Makes my head hurt, but each to their own.

A “good deal” is almost always inside the persons head. Regardless of what is actually paid if a person feels good about it, it’s a “good deal”. Another facet of this phenomenon is how the purchaser responds when asked about how much he paid. It’s almost always it’s in the positive. I have yet to meet a person who told me they got laid in the weeds when I asked what they paid. Behavior is just very interesting to me. Bores most I think.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a piston for my ps510.
Any leads on where I can get one?
A quick web search ain't helping much so far.

OEM or aftermarket? Lil red barn has aftermarket ones.

On Edit: I might be wrong, but I believe the PS5105 and PS510 share the same piston. Or atleast you can swap them back and forth. If that's the case. Here's an OEM PS5105 piston.

PS-510 has a 45mm piston, OEM can be had but is pricey.

In case You are actually talking about a Makita DCS510, piston kit part number was 181 132 060 and the piston is 45mm too.
The part number got superseded by 181 132 063 and is currently 181 132 064.

AM options are available!

US based seller, nevermind the eBay.DE thing - same ad must be on eBay.COM as well.

EDIT:
Here it is!
