Could someone tell me what I'm missing here on my 9000 ..air filter cover has a hole with a snow flake and sun marker on it but there isn't anything there..just an empty hole .
I was looking on the parts sheet but I didn't see that specific piece called out so maybe it's all together with the cover .

You are missing the summer/winter warm air inlet shunt, the part can not be purchased separately.
You have to buy the whole AF cover, part number 024118112 , 6€ from Germany (+ shipping).

You are missing the remainder of the saw that usually goes under that hood.
It should look something like this!

I believe they are NLA in the US, but any European member should be able to hook You up.

Not that I need another chainsaw, but couldn’t pass this up. NOS with DOM 12/2011. One owner. Fueled it up and it started right up! It’s cat left in short order.

I will include one additional AF cover in my ever so "pending" order.
If by the time I place and receive the order You haven't sourced an AF cover I will hook You up.
If You happen to not need one I'll just keep it for myself.

I keep looking for one of those just to ad to my herd.
I doubt a PS-420/421 would see much use with me.

This is my turkey oak firewood log pile, and that is my PS-7310 with 24" B&C

Oops, looks like the flywheel is enjoying the inner part of the emblem. I failed to notice the openings on the cover when installing.
