I figured that may be the case. I asked him who he got them from, but he couldn’t remember. He still has the 115, and said it’s only been used 5-6 times and is still like new. He didn’t want to sell that one. Trust me, I asked. Lol

They’re becoming a little bit of a collectors saw now that you can’t buy them new anymore. I’m not parting with any of mine any time soon.
I’m looking for a used red one myself. There’s one for sale locally, but it’s pretty beat up.

I do want a 9000/9010. This would have been my next trophy. Alas winter is rearing it's ugly head, and so the pockets will be a bit light in the coin department.
I will have one someday. I am drawn to this saw over any other currently.

The bus comes once You realize owning ONE is not nearly enough, then the craze starts and You begin buying every 9010 You encounter - that's when You're Fed!

I have bought a couple this year, managed to get a near mint 9010 in Makita colors
and a NOS one as well. Also a NOS Solo 694, Already had a Dolmar 9010 NOS that
came from a good friend in NY.

What’s it worth, realistically?

DCS401 makita. Never been in wood. Only fired up a few times. Cylinder walls still have the cross hatching. Haven’t ran the serial or looked into the manufacturing year yet. Thinking about letting her go.
