The other day I was sitting downstairs while having my first cup of jo. This was my winter routine, while stoken up the wood furnace. Out of the corner of my I catch the 120SI staring at me with that distressed look. It's that look ya get when staring at the muffler head on. 2 eyes and a flat mouth grin.
She's got the 3/4 wrap handle bars with 85% missing rubber covering.
Anyone ever recover these? I've seen truck bed liner used but want something more original and comfortable to the touch.
Thought of automotive heater hose ...... if I could find some blank of lettering.
I'd like to make this Dollie a little happier.
TIA

Use electrical heat shrink, comes in many sizes, quite resistant, you can use some thin wall hose under most of it, then slide over the heat shrink, heat it with a hot air gun or hair drier, it looks very professional and available at large electrical stores or online.

That seams like it will fit the bill perfectly.
Will checking out the McMaster-Carr site when I'm ready to tear into her. Grabbing a new coil for it first.

Love the 9000/9010 saws. Mostly use it to fell or cut up bigger trees on the job, but don't have any big wood at home anymore. Likes to eat the smaller wood also.

Gotta come out and visit your place one of these days...... I was in Argyle a couple weeks ago. Wish I had the time to "circle back" and stop in. Weathers gettin nicer. I'll be on the move more often.

Thanks!

Unfortunately she is a non-runner, she sounds of with fuel down the carb but won't stay running.
My SD108 is very troublesome to get started, requires a couple dozen pulls and babying on the throttle to get her warm, then she runs OK.

I need to troubleshoot both of them, P&C and ring are pristine on the SD105, SD108 could use a new ring and P&C cleaning as she has some blow by, both have fair compression.

I'm new/er to 2-stroke mechanics. Does blow by not reduce compression? I thought blow by was due to excessive ring wear.
In the 4-stroke world this would include the cylinder as to it's not plated.
I am asking this question seriously with no sarcasm. Looking to be enlightened if I'm missing something here.

If the ring gap is out of spec there wil be compression loss.

Those Sachs Dolmar made by Poulan are a pain to start.
Fuel Lines are common problem.
Sachs Dolmar 101, Almost 10 inch fuel line inside the handle.
