Got somethin' new in my barn, well not exactly new but new to me
DOLMAR 122 of early 1970s.
Very good shape, runs.
Gave her this brand new old GB bar since she didn't have B&C. Looks quite good I'd think.

Its missing in my collection.
Not that much all orignal 122 over here.

In Germany they are not that rare. Takes some time to find a good one for a reasonable price but
they're by far easier to get by than say a CT or a KMS-4 for a decent price

Yup. Most of our Ash trees have been killed by Emerald Ash bugs.
166 can noodle the whole 40 inch bar buried in dry Ash with ease.

Just picked up a new 7900 with wrap handle and got a few questions.

1. There is a piece of foam that goes on the filter hood directly in front of the summer/winter shutter. I assumed that needs to be removed?


2. When and when not to run the sleeve around the filter?



Here is the saw, just fired it up for the first time today.

Thank you, I'll make sure to keep them on.

Do you know if anyone makes a more ergonomic handle. Not crazy about the clutch side handle flaring out. Makes it feel bulky.



Other than that, what a great package. Hard to beat for the price, especially when it comes with good felling dogs and wrap handle.

Very nice saw! Congrats! If you don’t like the full wrap handlebar there’s a regular half wrap for these saws as well.

I'd be happy to purchase that full wrap from you if you take it off.

I like the full wrap. Just wish it was straighter across like the more traditional handle.
