Put a NOS Sachs-Dolmar bar on and a new chain. Don't think she'll keep that bar, though.
This one is a very rare beauty!
Lookin' good bro. What kind of chain on it?
I love the color scheme of that bar, makes the saw look much better than the current black on gray scheme Dolmar/Makita is using. Some pics of my Sachs-Dolmar 116 super in her final shape:

Speedwood, pine or sumptin'?
Nice! Here's a different look at the same saw with a longer work b&c.

Been playing with this guy. Early 110. Needs anti vibes though. Any help?
Solid Norway(red) pine.Speedwood, pine or sumptin'?
To me it just sounded like the saw needed a bit more load and/or leaned out in that toothpick.Solid Norway(red) pine.
Gooder chain.

Your clip is loading the saw nicely.
Work saw I assume?!
Very nice looking in Makita colorsSplit a big piece of cherry down the middle ready for some milling with an 064 in the next few weeks. I love this saw. I love the fact it starts from cold in two pulls every time.

I have a black one it's just the orange is in better shape.Antivibes of the recent 115 or Makita DCS520 will fit.
The color of your carb-hood should be black, orange ones belong to the 111.
I have exactly the same saw currently on my workbench.
2019 on the label. I bought it in July. Uk Makita are all still Blue atm. What year is that saw? Didn't know they made a Smurf 6100 , thought they were all the new reddish orange.
Makita's are mostly still teal in EuropeWhat year is that saw? Didn't know they made a Smurf 6100 , thought they were all the new reddish orange.
