New dolmar/makita family photo. Please keep in mind all but 2 of these are runners with b&c’s and I get them out at least once a year to “blow the dust off and shake the cob webs loose!”

Who’s ready to play “eye spy?”

If I had the time I could drag all mine out.

Nice Wilhelm. You got a nice collection going on there
I am still missing a couple that would interest me, but I have to step on the ball.
Though that doesn't mean I wouldn't jump on a good deal if one pops up.

If I had the time I could drag all mine out.
Here is an idea.

Stop posting for 24 hours, drag 'em all out, make a bunch of photos, drag 'em all back into storage and then shock & awe us with the pictures. :)

Have you ran it yet?
Yes, I did!

Makita XS5000 with 20"/72DL 3/8" B&C setup, Oregon EXL square filed, in 18ish" dry knotty beech - she fared very well considering it was no speedwood.

I made a video, will get it up to the Tube during the day.

Alas, funds are tight for a couple months now  - no more chainsaw play money this year. :(

Makita EA5000, XS ported @huskihl , pulling a @SOS Ridgerider square filed Oregon EXL chain.
Log is dry knotty beech.

Thank You Sondre and Kevin for all the help and effort You invested to get this beauty to me.

An additional big thank You goes out to Dan @AlfA01 for helping with shipping!

You’re more than welcome Wilhelm. Kevin did the difficult stuff, I was just the middle man, and if it hadn’t been for Dan it would probably have cost you twice as much. Lol
My hat is off to both of them!
Looks very good for a 50cc pulling a buried 20” bar in that kind of wood. I was very impressed when I ran it here.

Your and Dan's help was essential in getting this saw to me! :)

Indeed, not too shabby considering cc class and wood type/condition.

I have some more ash in that log pile, but it is not accessible so I couldn't utilize it for the video.
I will try and remember to do so as I buck the ash logs free from the surrounding beech logs.

Looks great. Kevin does a fine job on those Dolmars. Sondre and Kevin did all the work...I just quick turned it at the post office.

Happy to see it home and doing what it was made to do....ripping into some logs!

Dan You saved me, I was freaking out and running desperate - I am still amazed how You and Sondre got shipping sorted the way You did.

Have many of you seen issues with the AV springs breaking, or the chip management system plugging on the 7900?

Since 2006. I just recently broke the very first AV spring on one of mine, it was the cylinder mounted AV spring on my PS-6400.

Ham fisted operation will break them.
The AV springs were broken on both my PS-7300 & PS-7310 when I purchased them used and abused.
Cylinder mounted spring and left side PH mounted spring were snapped on both.

I have no issues with chip clearance!

Dolmar 110 chain brake question. This is the very early one. One legged brake handle that stay with the saw. The rest of the brake mechanism is in the cover. How do they interface? Everything seems to be there and operational.
Got pics?

Fixed: Sometimes you just got to look at it long enough.
