I'm thinking it's time for a base gasket delete on the 5105. Anyone done this and is there typically enough room?

Iirc correctly they have .027” factory squish so it would be to tight. But I’ll try and remember to look at my notes and see.

Never seen one you could do BG delete on. Most run 185+ psi. I have one blows 210 w/base gasket.

Did that with a PS-5000 w/o further modifications need. Can't tell for the 5105...

To me it would seem some saws on that list are getting an over built clutch while others are getting a to small of clutch.

So is the K095 bar mount for the 6100. Should have been a D009 for bar compatibility.

Yeah the only reason I can think of the K095 mount was to be able to use .325. I'm pretty sure the D009 doesn't come in .325. But then again they have done this before with the 120i being 68cc and using the K095.

DOLMAR hobby 100, early makes were marketed as DOLMAR mini 100.
Basically a Poulan XX badge engineered. Don't know if she is a runner but these are very hard to find (other than the hobby 101) so I just bought it.

And the ps-420 is a proper well built little powerhouse

Also the ps-6100 uses the same oil pump as a ps-32 ps-35 ea3200 ea3500

I tend to agree with your statement. My 6100 will slip the clutch when it's pulling hard. I'm not talking about lugging the motor either, just running it with a fresh chain and a bar full of ash tree.
Has anyone else experienced the same thing with a 6100? Mine is all stock by the way, 20" 3/8's

Now you say it, I also had the impression that the 6100 will slip clutch under load earlier than other other saws.
