Yeah, looks like it's worth it!
I knew they made a non easy start option but it wasn't a model that was available when I bought mine, at least not at the price I got mine for....and mine is a 5105H(heated grips). I do like the thinner overall profile of the CX.

There is a kit to convert to the non easy start. New flywheel dogs and the old style recoil. Part # 181-160-170
Converted this saw just to see how it felt.
This saw came from a package of stuff purchased from another dealer last December. Sold it to a local farm just across the road.

I'm working with @AlfA01 on getting some over here. Do you want the inner & outer dogs too?
Like a 5100s starter. But it still has the coil that fires on a slow pull.So how did it feel?
I emailed the guy and asked how many of the Red Dolmar covers I can order. Just let me know and I'll grab what I can.
I'm thinking it's time for a base gasket delete on the 5105. Anyone done this and is there typically enough room?

Yes I have cut with that saw. It's a go getter for sure and I have visited with Carl about a port job.....Send the whole thing to Carl lol. Did you run the one he did for Kenneth?
